The introduction of the new Bongobenny Quintet was celebrated with performances from Teatro Zinzanni and live music from Darrius Willrich on Keyboards, Evan Flory-Barnes on Bass, D'Vonne Lewis on Drums. The PlayGarden Children's Choir had their debut performance with Rochelle House directing.
THE PLAYGARDEN AT THE 2013 NORTHWEST FLOWER & GARDEN SHOW
The Swiss Family Robinson was the theme for the PlayGarden at the Garden show. Once again the PlayGarden was a huge success with kids and their families. Many stayed and played in the thatched roof huts for hours while tired parents relaxed. Others enjoyed entertainment on the Sprout Stage, planted beans in coconut shells and played croquet on the grass lawn.

CELEBRATES 10 YEARS
Dr. Abe Bergman and the Sitchin family were honored for their outstanding and ongoing committment to the PlayGarden as we celebrate 10 years. The event was September 27th, 2012 at the Four Season Hotel in Seattle.
SDDA 2ND ANNUAL
SIDEWALK SALE
The Seattle Design District Association's Summer Sidewalk Sale returns for a 2nd year and was full of design ideas, great deals, food, entertainment, and fun projects for the kids. Highlights include six gourmet food vendors, live music & a raffle to support the PlayGarden.
A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit the Seattle Children's PlayGarden!
AN EVENING OF
LITERARY GASTRONOMY
Eat, Drink and Be Merry was the goal of the evening. Thierry Rautureau and Sherman Alexie hosted a fun adult event on a beautiful spring evening at the PlayGarden.
Live music, great food by Thierry Rautureau, Chef in the Hat and entertaining conversation with both Thierry and Sherman Alexie, made this a fun event for all who attended.
NW FLOWER & GARDEN SHOW '12
"The PlayGarden at the NW Flower & Garden Show" returned for a 2nd year with hands-on fun for children and parents!
Around-the-clock activities for children included a series of fun musical entertainers every show day on the Sprout Stage, including "Caspar Babypants", Nancy Stewart, "Your Imaginary Friends" Jana Vitols & Greg Ruby and Lisa Taylor with the "Creepin' Critters."
PLAYGARDEN LUNCHEON
The 3rd annual PlayGarden luncheon was a fun event and a great success. The events was October 12th at the new Four Season Hotel in Seattle.
SDDA SIDEWALK SALE
The SDDA's Summer Sidewalk Sale inspires and entertains. The Seattle Design District Association's Summer Sidewalk Sale was full of design ideas, great deals, food, entertainment, and fun projects for the kids. The Childrens PlayGarden's booth was well attended. The PlayGarden chickens were a bit hit with the kids. A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit the Seattle Children's PlayGarden!
